X-ray

There’s one photo I’ve not shown here yet. The xray of my left elbow.

It’s almost as painful as it looks. 8 months after the accident, I still can’t lean on it properly, especially not on a hard surface. I feel something in the elbow… something that shouldn’t be there… and I’m squeamish… and I don’t like it.

8 months though… it seems a lifetime since the plastercast came off for the last time, and I was left looking at an arm that wouldn’t flex beyond 90 degrees. I can’t straighten my arm, and the scar’s still there… but that’s really all that would give away the fact that I have a chunk of metal in my arm now.

Well, the B+W conversion could do with a bit more contrast, and there’s a good bit of camera shake and a slight blur from poor focussing. Damn X-rays with their short wavelength and propensity for diffraction!

Glad it’s healing well, though ;-)

Erm… thanks for the critique. The subject matter’s healed ok, and is surprising many people with its capabilities. :)
