OM-1 photos

So I picked up a professional-level 35mm slr camera for a silly price last week. A test film was put through the Olympus OM-1, as usual.

I was expecting lightleaks, shutter ‘features’ and exposure problems. As the 50mm lens was coated with dust behind the filter, and that I couldn’t remove the filter, I used the 28mm with a yellow filter.

Only one photo, out of twenty-three, has a lightleak. I’d say that’s not bad going for an SLR that’s about 30 years old.

Enough blabber… on with the photos.

£5 well spent, I think. Time to start hunting for a spare rewind crank for it, as well as cleaning the camera itself up.

I picked up a refurbished one about a year ago for $100. It was super clean and had new seals, pads, and foam. All things considered, it looked new. I must say, it turned out to be a bargain.

    Nice work.
