Lenses

My beloved Sigma 18-125 has developed a problem. The focus ring/mechanism has become sticky. Very sticky. So sticky in fact, that I’m able to attach and remove the lens by holding the lens by the focussing ring, and the ring doesn’t budge.

That’s with the lens set to manual focus. Not good.

So, there I was… DSLR attached to a rather unwieldy tripod… trying to get some sort of results I’d be proud of, whilst wrestling with the tripod and wet sand.

Of digital cameras… pt2

The industry states “Use RAW”. Camera magazines now state “Use RAW”. The photographer stood next to you will no doubt say “Use RAW”.
