Nice
This is nice work – do you mind having to trade off the ‘quality’ of jpegs of you images and the originals? The closest I have come to developing photos is scanning negatives – old balck and white negatives scan really well I find.
Hi John.
The photos in this post were all done on the Canon 350D, and not one of my film cameras, so there’s really no trade-off.
I know what you mean though. When I’ve scanned in some 120 film, there’s a definite lack of detail when compared to a print produced from a 120 negative in the darkroom. That said though, I don’t miss the darkroom at all… I only miss the film developing bit.
That’s got me thinking… which is never a good thing. Maybe invest in a 10×8 view camera, then rely on sun prints afterwards. Hmm…
