C’mon y’lazy bugger..!

Urgh… has it really been over two months since my last post?

How my life has changed. No, really… it has.

So, I guess this photo malarky has gotten a bit stagnant. It was bound to happen, thinking about it. After all, my previous job nigh-on guaranteed me at least one more bit of camera gear from eBay per month, be it a camera body, lens or whatever.

I do miss those days… but only for the acquiring of camera gear. Certainly the stress of the previous job isn’t missed. Digression..? Where??

So, really, my photography has hit another stagnant period. Summer’s gone and winter’s due. Gone are the nearly-guaranteed blue skies of the south-east of England, there’s now a near-constant coverage of grey clouds… and drizzle.

You really can’t call it rain, what this area of England gets. It’s nowhere near as horizontal as I’m used to.

To be honest, I’ve forgotten what my last acquired item of camera equipment was. I’m sure if I crank my memory hard enough, I’ll remember. Ho hum. But, going off what I’ve babbled in the past… practicing what I’ve preached, etc… that’s given me plenty of time to get accustomed to what equipment I already have.

I did have a rant ready for posting, but… as with most other things recently… it got put on hold. It’ll appear though. When… that’s another matter entirely.

Due up next week though, it’s “Красный октябрь” in the ICC Flickr group, so I’m dusting off, checking and choosing what ‘Commie camera’ I’ll be using.

In the mean time, have some more photos…

      Hi Achiel.

Yeah, the job’s doing good… I passed the probational period without a problem. My photography’s hit a “writers block” period, but it’s not the first time… so that’ll recover. :)

I am on facebook, but I’m nearly always using the mobile verion, because of its lack of ‘background noise’ (online games, tests, etc).
